Invitation to Future Master Thesis Students in Bio-Image Analysis
Are you passionate about bio-image analysis and eager to immerse yourself in cutting-edge research? Most of our master's theses at the University of Copenhagen are 30 ECTS, which de facto is 4 months of research time, and this often feels too short. Often, it is at the point of hand-in that we are ready to answer the truly exciting and challenging questions.
However, if you are a motivated student who seeks a richer experience, you can extend your research time by combining it with projects. In the Master of Computer Science education and other programs, it is possible to do a 15 ECTS project outside the study curriculum and a 7.5 ECTS master thesis preparation project to make your final year a deeper dive. If you choose so, we will top this up by helping you design a coherent set of projects, access to lab and office facilities at the image section, be part of our research community, and thus become a junior member of our section under either Julius' or Jon's supervision.
You will:
- Work closely with us and our research group for up to 12 months
- Access our facilities and tools for bio-image analysis
- Be part of a vibrant, collaborative research environment
- Build skills and results that go far beyond the standard thesis timeframe
